The BBC has reported that Somalia's capital has become a bit of a war zone. This has happened off and on over the past several months. It reads:
"Somalia has seen a violent surge since the Islamists were ousted. A major gun battle has broken out in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, as MPs meet in the central city of Baidoa to consider the future of the government. A BBC correspondent in Mogadishu says it is some of the heaviest fighting since Islamists were ousted by Ethiopian-backed troops in December."
