Congress/ President Bush To Bless Dalai Lama With Medal

Okay, this is really getting stupid. First, the D.L. is not a U.S. civilian, for whom such medals are intended.

The BBC News Service has reported that:

"The Dalai Lama is due to receive an award from Congress. US President George W Bush is due to meet the Dalai Lama, despite strong objections from the Chinese government. It will be the first time a sitting president will have appeared in public with the 72-year-old Buddhist leader. On Wednesday the president will attend a ceremony at the US Capitol where the Dalai Lama will receive a Congressional Gold Medal, the top US civilian award."

The Bible, upon which George Bush placed his left hand when being sworn into the Presidential office, strictly forbids the president from promoting or countenancing any faith other than that of the Biblical religion. This is simply first-order idolatry. Apparently, the U.S. Congress intends to condemn itself under the same prohibition, the second commandment.

This is rebellion against God, and this is precisely how He views it, according to the Word. It describes idolaters as "those who HATE Me." Idolatry is a hate crime, but not that of the hatred of men, but of the Almighty. It is the hatred of Jesus Christ the Lord.

This is not the first time either the U.S. president or Congress have willfully transgressed in this odious fashion. Bush has also visited the Antichrist, offering the pope all manner of flattery, and regularly calls Islam a "religion of peace," speaking of his "deep respect" for the religion of the false prophet.

This is nasty business. Christians need to pray for his repentance, before he gets himself, and perhaps many of us, killed by arousing God's wrath against the nation he represents, along with Congress and the U.S. Supreme Court.

The only ones not guilty of such wickedness -- according to the Bible -- are those who publicly protest it, not giving consent to this sort of high-handed evil against the Lord and His Anointed. This is not just some "visit" by a guy wearing odd clothes. We have plenty of those in Berkeley.

This is rebellion against the God who made all men. And it George Bush does not know this, he had no business placing his left hand on that with which he was far too unfamiliar. It is the duty of the king to read out of the Law of the Lord daily, to know what God requires and forbids, loves and hates.

Those who remain silent on this issue flatter the President with all manner of lies, saying "Peace, Peace," when there is no peace. Fools mistake God's patience -- they will say silence -- for his going along with their evil. But He is nothing like men and will surprise them when His wrath flares up against such wicked persons, who after many reproofs harden themselves against their better biblical knowledge and the light of nature.

In truth, I feel sorry for these fools, who sit at the highest levels of government and have not the least sense of what the duties of mercy, justice and humility require. God have mercy on us; idiots are at the helm, who take an oath to God and then walk straight into his anger on behalf of their constituents. They even number Sodomites among their own members.

And -- I don't know whether to laugh or cry -- they think this is NORMAL. They think they are the normal ones, and dissenters are the heretics. They call "hate" anything they will not tolerate, and then make this heresy -- a criminal act. Orthodoxy is now heresy. Just add perverse "values," and you have American upside-down pluralism. Logic be damned.

But it is not logic which ends up in the hot seat. It is idolaters, blasphemers, and all manner of wicked persons who think they are "normal." The Bible says that "every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord tests the heart."

People imagine that God is like they are. This is the essence of personal (as opposed to national) idolatry. But I solemnly assure you, He is not like you. His eyes are too pure to look upon sin, and his righteousness is like the noonday sun, shining in its strength. You are NOTHING like that. Neither is Congress.

This extreme difference, the radical holiness of God and sinfulness of man, gives rise to the absolute need for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, or else of the flaming eternal vengeance of God's righteous anger. Those who will not fear Him now, I assure you, will greatly fear Him later.

The president should write a letter, and make a public speech, strongly condemning the false religion of the Dalai Lama, and his followers, calling on them to turn from their wickedness to the Living God -- the God of the Bible. For in this alone is their hope for these men. By approving their evil against the Lord and His Messiah, the president will only render citizens of the U.S. subject to greater wrath that is already upon this land.

It has the largest trade deficit in human history, an exceedingly high violent crime rate, an extraordinary number of statistics all telling of the demise of the U.S. family. It has murdered countless native american (Indians), and built its industries on the backs of slaves (even after the civil war, the rich continued to mightily oppress the immigrant from every nation -- Chinese, Irish, and the like. It has a massive holocaust of butchering factories called "abortion clinics." I personally watched Jeb Bush (on TV) stand by and do nothing while evil and brutal men starved to death a helpless woman -- the cold-blooded murder of Terry Schiavo.

This land has engaged in numerous bloody wars with no justification as a war of self-defense -- from Korea to Vietnam and Iraq -- slaying countless Americans as well Koreans, Vietnamese, Iraqis and others needlessly and unjustifiably -- as it is this day. On top of all this, this land is filled with all manner of cults, false religions of every kind, and even Satanists -- the self-declared enemies of God and the Lord Jesus -- receive the blessing of the U.S. civil authorities -- which persons are traitors against all, evil and barbaric, and deserve to be put to death upon conviction by due process.

This list could be expanded greatly, from the thievery of the printing of fiat money and fractional reserve banking, to all manner of illicit form of taxation -- personal federal income tax, property tax, and the like. The doctrine of eminent domain now - unbelievably - expanded to municipal authorities (in direct violation of the U.S. Constitution -- it says any authority not directly given the federal government falls to the states, not the cities), allows them arbitrarily to declare blighted whatever they wish on a whim, and effectively steal from its owner(s) -- and many other like things they do.

Will God really tolerate this forever? Not on our lives. Let all God's people pray for what few Christian members of Congress there may be. I know of only one, but I am sure there are others (For Ron Paul of Texas is a good man). But prayer alone can help these people. Others we need to pray AGAINST, so far gone are they in depravity.

Anyone not sure whom we ought to pray against, just sing Psalm 109 and let the Lord sort it out. This is one of the great benefits of the Psalter to God's people. These prayers which He has ordained in the form of song, He hears and answers according to the greatness of His exceeding great Wisdom (which thankfully reduces the need on our part for discernement and understanding which is beyond us, but which is an easy thing for the Lord).

For nothing is too hard for the Lord. Therefore, as a biblical rule of thumb, when in doubt, sing Psalms. God is never in doubt. He knows just what to do.

This much I DO know: there are two things we don't need in this country -- and MORE of the Dalai Lama's religion is BOTH of them.

Rather: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord," and again, "Praise the Lord, for He is good; his mercy endures forever."
